Another of those difficult types of cards now - one for the men. This one is actually for my father-in-law who's a bit of a philatelist. I used the Hot Off The Press Heritage paper pad - this is the first time I've used it and I'm afraid to say I've had it for four years!!! I also used the Hot Off The Press Masculine Artsy Collage book.
The card blank was covered with a panel of the green collage paper from the Hot Off The Press 8"x8" Heritage paper pack, and the edges were distressed using the ColorBox Chestnut Roan fluid chalk ink. A strip of the green plaid paper, also from the Heritage paper pad, was distressed and then matted onto green card and then over matted onto the centre of the collage paper.
The postage stamp images, from the Hot Off The Press Masculine Paper Artsy pad, were cut out and matted onto the dark green card. This was then matted onto a panel of the green collage paper.
A silver 'Birthday Wishes' peel-off, from Anita's, was coloured using peel-off markers and adhered to a paper ribbon fragment from the HOTP Ribbon Fragment book.
I also decorated the inside of the card using the green plaid paper from the Heritage paper pack and a coloured Anita's silver peel-off.
