WELCOME

This blog was created to act as a record of the cards and other projects that I have made. It is for both my own reference and to help inspire anyone who wants to take a look.

I'd love it if you'd leave me a comment so that I know what you think of my projects and that you've been to visit!

Anyone can comment, even those who don't have a blog. (Just look for the word 'Comments' under the three little pictures at the end of each post). Readers without a blog can add an anonymous comment, but please leave your name (and docrafts username if applicable) so I know who you are!

Slideshows of all the cards I've uploaded to my blog can be found at the bottom of the page.

Some Cards For The Ladies

Here are a few cards I've made recently for the ladies in my life. The first was for my mum's 60th birthday. I have also made a lady's card with a difference, namely that it is a motorbike card, but purple!!

GREEN AND ORANGE PENNY BLACK UPLIFTING OCCASION

The image used on this card was very kindly donated by Judith B in the Sep '08 Docrafts Image Swap, and was watercoloured using Whispers Brushstroke markers.

Birthday Wishes - Hero Arts (Birthday Messages set)

PATTERNED PAPERS
Hot Off The Press Ultimate Cardmakers Creative Pack

INKS ETC
Versafine Spanish Moss archival pigment ink
Whispers Brushstroke markers

EMBELLISHMENTS

Cream paper flower - Papermania Imaginisce

PINK AND PURPLE DAISY DECORATIVE PANEL

I used one of my recent purchases to make this card - an Impress panel die. However, it wasn't large enough to fill the panel, so I cut it into two pieces and hid the join behind the circular panel.
The Daisy image was 3D'd by concertina folding a piece of card and attaching it behind the image that was stuck onto a piece of white card and cut out.

The next installment will be some of the hardest cards of all to make - cards for the men!!!
