WELCOME

This blog was created to act as a record of the cards and other projects that I have made. It is for both my own reference and to help inspire anyone who wants to take a look.

I'd love it if you'd leave me a comment so that I know what you think of my projects and that you've been to visit!

Anyone can comment, even those who don't have a blog. (Just look for the word 'Comments' under the three little pictures at the end of each post). Readers without a blog can add an anonymous comment, but please leave your name (and docrafts username if applicable) so I know who you are!

Slideshows of all the cards I've uploaded to my blog can be found at the bottom of the page.

Pink, Blue and Cream Dragonfly Kooky Teapot

Here's another card made using one of my recent wins! This one is from Happileigh Scrappin' and I think it's really stylish and elegant.

The Kooky Teapot #1 digi image was coloured using Copic Sketch markers:
  • Teapot: R20, E51, B00
  • Rosebuds: R20, RV21, YG41
  • Dragonfly: B00, R20, RV21, E51
The image was then die cut using a square Nestabilities die and matted onto a larger die cut square of cream card.

This in turn was then matted onto a panel of the blue rose and ribbons paper from the Papermania Blueberry Hill paper pad. A panel of light blue paper was then punched using the Martha Stewart Eyelet Lace corner and border punches.

All the layers were then matted onto the card blank and a bow tied using Celebrate cream organza ribbon and added in the top left corner of the image panel.

Three white Papermania adhesive pearls were coloured using Copic markers:
  • Pearls: E21, E51
These were then added in the bottom right corner of the image panel.

The sentiment, from the Papermania Scrolls and Sentiments stamp set, was stamped next to the image using Brilliance Pearlescent Sky Blue pigment ink.

The dragonfly was then highlighted with Craft Planet Iridescent Sparkle glitter glue and the pearl detail of the teapot highlighted with Anita's 3D Gloss.

Here are the challenges that I am entering this card into:
